NVQ L3 Oral Health Care: Dental Nursing & Independent Assessment City & Guilds 2007, Radiography (BDA)
I embarked on my dental career quite by chance two decades ago. My professional journey has included time in the retail sector, care homes, and serving in the British Army.
Following my initial training and qualification as a dental nurse, I felt a strong drive to continue expanding my knowledge and skill set. This led me to pursue further qualifications in dental radiography, dental sedation, and special care dentistry. These additional qualifications have allowed me to provide more comprehensive care to my patients and to work more effectively with my colleagues.
I became a part of The Grove Practice team in September 2024, and I can truly say it has been a wonderful experience. From the very beginning, I felt welcomed and embraced by the warm and supportive community at The Grove Practice. It's more than just a workplace; it feels like a family. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have found a practice that aligns so well with my values. The emphasis on holistic care for both the team and the patients resonates deeply with me, and I'm proud to be a part of a practice that prioritises the well-being of everyone involved.
Outside of the dental practice, my family and pets are my top priorities and the center of my world. They bring me immense joy and are my constant source of support and love. In my leisure time, I find pleasure in various activities that nurture my mind and creativity. I am an avid reader and enjoy losing myself in the world of books. I also find painting and other crafts to be incredibly relaxing and fulfilling. For physical activity and to connect with nature, I love going on walks. And to indulge my love for the performing arts, I frequently attend the theatre.
