Hello! I'm Jess, and I wear a few hats here at the Grove Practice: Head Dental Nurse, Patient Care Coordinator, and Decontamination Lead. My primary focus is on setting and maintaining high standards for our nursing team. Nurses play a pivotal role in patient care, providing essential support to both patients and clinicians. It's a demanding job, so I'm committed to ensuring the well-being of our nurses, both physically and mentally.
I began my journey in dentistry back in 2014, but I found my home at the Grove Practice in 2019. I've been fortunate to advance quickly here, starting as a chair-side nurse and progressing to head nurse and decontamination lead. I now also conduct my own free non-clinical consultations for cosmetic dentistry, which involves taking digital scans, photographs, and X-rays. Additionally, I collaborate closely with Harmeet two days a week; we have a great working dynamic that allows us to deliver top-notch patient care.
Outside of work, I have a few passions. I love karaoke – even though I can't sing, I enjoy performing for the team and getting everyone to laugh. I'm also an avid reader, and I cherish sun holidays and quality time spent with my family, friends, and my miniature poodle, Inca. I have a particular fondness for dachshunds, and I dream of having one someday! When it comes to food, I'm partial to a delicious curry or Italian meal, ideally accompanied by a generous glass (or four) of Pinot rosé.
